I'm afraid this may be the first ones of an addicting hobby. Constructive criticism would be appreciated. Thanks to all of your tips and for sharing them so freely. Scott

Very nice ties!! Last year I would have thought the bob tailed red jig might be questionable .Then I caught a 16" crappie on a straight cut bob tailed red jig suggested by my son. He was tearing them up on a straight cut off jig.
I think your first ties are above average. I'll leave it to the expert tyers we have to find room for improvement. Thanks for sharing. Illinoisgiller
Thanks Illinoisgiller, I've been reading alot on C.com and watching videos on U-Tube but I feel like I've got 10 thumbs when I whip finish. I'll keep practicing and maybe it will feel more natural. On my home lake, Okatibbee in east-central MS, black and red as well as black and orange seems to work real well. Maybe because of the stained water. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Scott

They all look good. The first thing that I do before tying is clean the hook eyes out,I like all the paint gone. Then tye.Just one of my quirks,I guess.I did take a few with me in the box and it's a little perturbing while on the boat to try to clean one while the fish are biting.lol.

Not bad for the first ones they should catch fish. ??? are you using collared jig heads?? If you have a good pair of cutters you can cut the collars off that way you have some with and without. I poured them and then cut off half the collars but now have the collarless mold

If those are your first ever tied jigs I'd say there is a touch of "natural" in ya.Those 3 jigs will catch fish. Congrats.
