HARLEYBOY Here is one I did for bass, but lost it before I know how it was, LOL! Of course I don't use weed guards anyway. 1/4 Oz.

Are the weed guards that are touching the point of the hook made from twisted safety wire? If not, you just gave me a good idea that I need to try.
Snake , he said he likes them because he doesn't lose as many on hangups where he fishes in lots of treetops don't fish with him so don't know about the strike, sorry, but he does real good at the bass thing,
Skip thats a good looker there , how did you lose it ? I had those weed jigs so I just made up some for him, maybe he will do good with them if not may keep them a little longer anyway, lol

Bartman, Those are premade but yes they are double wire, I have made some like them on some jigs but ran out of the wire I had,it was some kind of spring wire that worked great .but you can make them out of mono line 30/50# the same way just double it loop, and tie it around the eye that works on 1/32 /1/16 or so , I have done that before works good, I tie flys that way some too don't know why just something to do ,Lol

Harley - What kind of heads are on the top left? Can't really tell the shape of them from the pic, do you have a closer pic of those... they almost look like spinner-bait heads????
Fishing with it about the first time and got hung up bad and had my line against something sharp on the bottom and it cut my line. As soon as I put a little pressure on it the braid just cut. I was not happy and never yet tied another like it.
Last year I was fishing with a 1/4 oz black marabou jig with small black soft plastic worm with a chart tip and caught 2 big crappie on it trying to catch a bass off my bulkhead. Crazy how big of a bait a nice crappie will hit. Probably 2' deep each place.
