    Congrats on getting a good looking crappie like that and more.

    Got some of that head too, but just thinking about colors and where I will try them if the come shallow before I get out.

    Very nice slab! Throw some rabbit hair on them and they catch trout as well.

    It is a flat headed jig that looks like a shad head with it's mouth open. Crazy angler (flatfish) has them.

    It has been years since I fished Toledo Bend. As I remember it had a dark stained water. I really loved that lake. Your lucky to live there, or, is it luck??

    I have alot of these heads but have'nt gotten around to tying on them yet. LOKS LIKE THATS GONNA CHANGE

    I will buy painted open mouth jig heads as soon as i can find them.
    jigginjoe and krazy angler web site was not much help

    I'm sure someone can hook ya up I only paint those for myself. I use 3-4 colors on them and would take to much time.
