Default To all the new tyers

I have only been tying a few months myself, and my confidence in what I tie has grown. I haven't been home all week and was pleased to see all the new tyers showing their fine work. Y'all are doin some work thats way above average. I didn't respond to all of you, please don't take offense. The balance and color combos are super, and are giving me ideas. Welcome to you all and I'm glad share the site with such talent.:D

Skeet, it seems that the numbers of new tiers grows faster and faster all the time. It is really great to see so many new guys and gals getting turned on to tying. All I can say is once you get comfortable with what you start tying then look for the next thing that you want to learn. There seems to be pretty much and endless supply of materials and patterns that can be done, or changed into something different.

Just keep tying and good things will happen,

Skip, I remember when I could count the members on this jig tying forum on one hand. It is nice to see how it has grown.

There is a lot of information for the new tiers as stickies on this forum or in the c.c archives. I hope they all take the time to review it. They can also type a question in the search box and possibly get an answer.

Anyway welcome to all of you. Handcrafting a jig is fun and habit forming.

Yes,when I joined in 2004 and started tying jigs in 2006 almost all information and ideas came from Skip and Ship. Now this site has grown very much with so many members and new jigs and ideas every day.

I have been off vacationing this past week too and am looking forward to catching up on all the new posts. I thought about taking my tying stuff on the ship with me but the wife didn't much like the idea. I got home and found my new hi- tek rod holder and 2 pkgs of tying material waiting for me, so I am like a kid in a candy store this morning. LedHead, if you read this, thanks for the package, I am very happy with our trade.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

Yes Ship has done a lot for the board as well with lots of links to videos and all. I did a lot of other things and when Ship started with the links to videos that just eased my job some for sure. Plus he's always eager to help a new guy.

So Ship thanks for the help.
