    Mornin' Guys....
    I have a bunch of horsehair and wanted to know if anyone has ever used it in tying jigs..????....I sure are tempted to try it out ....
    What do y'all think ????

    Never let a potential source of material go untried. Just good old common horse sense pun intended.

    Never have tried it but trying it won't hurt a bit.I'd like to see the results.It's long isn't it,so it could be used like bucktail. Probably work better with bigger jigs.

    Yes, the hair is very long, it is tail hair....I also figured it would be better used on a larger jig....
    So I am going to have to "hitch up the team "....and head for the tying room !!:D:D

    Enough of this horse play:D
    Last year a buddy brought me a handful of horse tail hair, said if I'd tie him some jigs, he make breakfast. Sounded like a good deal to me so I tied a half dozen 1/8 oz jigs on pink, black, chartreuse and orange heads. Later on that week he brought up three LM bass he caught on the jigs. Sooooo, I don't know if Crappies would hit them but Bass seem to like em. Give em a try ML.
