    Default catfish on jigs

We catch a lot of catfish on jigs every summer in the snake river it doesn't make any difference what color of jig you use. Also we catch a lot of 3 to 4 pound rainbow trout on jigs in the snake River of course. We consider them trash fish they can be a nuisance along with the catfish:D.

I love the way you think! I am the same way I get so bored with trout fishing here in Washington. I need to hit up the Snake soon I want to get after some smallies and walleye. I found a little slough like hole off the Columbia that I am planning to hit with the pontoon in spring and see what is in there that is full of tree tops that I am hoping has some nice crappie and cats in. I have never caught a cat on a jig but I just started jig fishing this past summer so I will let you know what happens this summer.

I have caught them on jigs tipped with wigglers while fishing for Shellcracker on the bottom.
