    10 to 14 inches depends on how deep I am fishing. Just so the two colors can both be seen by the predatory fish and give an illusion that triggers bites.

    very nice ship trying to tie some hackle on your ice blade . We have made many of these in the past by soldering hooks into blades the blades are very inexpensive and we used split rings in the eye of the blade you can buy ice blades from worth company.

    Also you can get blades at Janns Netcraft. Be sure to use gold hooks when soldering.
