Leaving them all bunched together might cause the hair/feather to kink. I have a plano box, one big compartment, and cut some polyurethane foam (repurposed) to fit into it. Hot glue holds it fine if you desire. Cut into sections creates ridges to stick hook points into if you wish. Box is $5 to $8 depending where you get it. Good snap latches too.
The small ziploc bags work well if you don't crowd em too bad. Lots of places sell jigs in those bags so it must work good enough. Previous thread on jig storage will also tell others options.
