These were some new baits I was playing with on Christmas day. Ledhed has been putting up some killer crappie spinnerbaits on cc and this year the little r--d ru--ers have gotten me some nice fish. These are some modifications I made and the blades spin in bath tub tests. Well, what do you think?

Great looking jigs!!!!!!!!! I really like the photo's showing that the tip wire connected to the Road Runners head is clear of paint and is free swiveling.

There have been other questions on threads asking about do the blades just flap?? NO, I've seen the problem not just in the powder painting of them but liquid painting of them. The cleaner the wire the better they spin.

Guys if you want to check if your's are clean enough check the photo's here and you'll see!!!!

The minnowheads in first picture are 1/24 on a #4 hook before adding blades. Pillheads weigh about 1/22 on a #4 sickle before blades.RR in third are 1/16 #4 sickle,4th pic rr's are 1/32 and 1/48 on #4 and #6 sickles. I thank the guys here on cc for helping me with the paint jobs by showing pics and whenever I asked questions telling me how they do it. Before this year I was a one color paint guy.Now I get about 5 hours sleep per day because I'm always thinking about how I can make a better jig. Thanks for your help and advice. Anyone can paint jigs like this if you hang around here long enough.

As usual, very nice work. Real nice colors and good blend. Gotta try the spinner thing.
