    Default Building Jigs....

I have seen some awfully pretty jigs on several forums, so I am going to have to jump in and start tying my own.......I need to buy a jig vise..I have a ton of scrap fur...bunches of feathers from my flock..and a bunch of thread...I searched my tackle box and found some new jigs...plus I have been watching some YouTube tying videos...

If you all have any advice...I'd appreciate any input !!

BTW....this my first post on crappie.com...

Take a look at some of the sticky threads at the top of the jig board. Also, Bass Pro sells a very good jig tying video. It's well worth the money.

Welcome from AL MaryLou. I also just started tying about a week ago. first I read a lot of threads on here, watched the YouTube videos and asked questions here and got great answers. A couple of days ago I caught my first fish on one of my jigs, it's a great feeling.

Hey Marylou, just a heads up...if you have a powder paint question ask Cadman, if you have a jig tying supplies question ask Flatfish, if you want to know how to tie up very small jigs ask Jigging joe and Illinoisgiller (ole giller ), if you want to be confused talk to Grubfarmer (just kiddin ya grubby), if you want to know what the fish are thinking about ask me, and most of all if you want to know the meaning of life (or any other really important questions ) talk to God.....just my 2 pennys worth.....brim
