Nice ties, the second batch looks about right for the length. Those grizzly marabou feathers look familiar.

They should they are the JJJ special selection of marabou thanks they are working out great just getting the right length the first time around, perhaps the blue ones will be the ones that go on perfect the first time.

Again thanks for the help and remember if there is anything I can do for you just ask...:D:D:D

I use that marabou on some of my jigs too and it's nice looking but kind of high price when compared to regular colors.

One thing I would suggest is to tear off the barbules off the stem to tie them. You will get a much better action not having the stem in the tail unless it is a very thin stem. I find and use maybe just a few in a bag of marabou that I don't tear the feathers off the stem to tie.

Also make sure next time to trim before they are tied so you trim from the tied end and not the end that is going to give you the action you want.

Other than that they look good.

you lost me there Skip not sure what you mean by tear off the barbules off the stem to tie them. Marabou is kind of new to me as far as tying with it so you sort of went over my head there.
