Yeah happened to me a few times as a kid"nail polish may have come some ways since then though"I painted everything w/mom's polish "Hot Wheels,"lures"Models... you name it...!You can find jig paints pretty cheap at TJ'S tackle on line"2 oz.go's a long way for $5.79"!Beats my local tackle store at $8.99 for one 2 oz.jar".And they will paint over 500 to 1000ct.jigs depending on size of jig, and how you choose to coat them":DI save a ton now that i invested in a fluid res.from them"and really get that 1000ct.out of most 2oz.colors using 1/16oz. jigs ,and smaller",and again pending on how "Hot" the jig is when picking up the paint"and whether you double coat at times"...iIn my opinion"its a feel thing fellas.
