I am sorry about the postage due.That really ticks me off.
I stood right at the counter and watched the clerk put the necessary postage on both envelopes.In fact both packages were stamped for PRIORITY MAIL for a total of $9.00.I think the next swap I will put the postage on myself and add a layer of clear tape over the postage so it can't come off or should I say be tampered with. I have a cousin that works at the post office and I will ask him how often does this happen.

I saw the priority mail tag - and the sequence/denomination of the stamps on both envelopes, not to mention the scarring - that tells me it was as you describe.

We will see what the postmaster has to say tomorrow....

it can happen ... it's happened to me and now on all my packages the postage goes on and then I cover the entire front of the envelope/package with clear tape!

UG ok with me. Please let me know what the problem with mailing was. Still think they are going to help bail out someone, maybe a peanut company.

UG - You may have to count my number of jigs once ya get em in. I keep my box of tying material in my closet on top of my dresser, and found one this morning while I was pulling up... MY BOXERS!!!! :o Ouch!, but not too much harm done.

I actually made 25, figured UG would get 2 of them, so there should be 24 left. I reorganized my drawer (shirts and pants as well) & didn't find anymore. If there is not enough, let me know and I will get some more sent out!

Wifelet asked when I was going to start mailing stuff out - she rolled her eyes when I said it's not all here yet.....

Attica - I hope that what ever got hooked got off! Not to worry - 24 will cover the other participants...that is what is important here.

Uncle Grump, everything arrive okay from mine? I have never packaged jigs in something like that so I wanted to check. Hopefully I will find a better container for the next one.

Hope you like the extras. Want to see a picture of any fish caught on them.

I did send a few extra items, and figure if there is any more missing, he could substitute, but it is still early enough, I could fill in the missing ones and send them out in time. I must have counted them 10 or more times while making them... so figured I didn't need to count them again going into the box. Guess I'll count them 11 times next time...
