    AF,

    Great-looking ties.

There's much motivation here (great ties) to get out to my local river and do some fishing for "Them Ol' Brown Fish".

CK3, if a 7+ smallie is the target, you might want to plan a vacation trip to Pickwick Lake, they got 'em. A friend of mines Dad caught his PB there and I think it was 7.5. He had it mounted on a big chunk of driftwood along with the 14lb largemouth he caught the same spring in a small public lake here in AR. It is an impressive mount with those 2 toads on it.

I'll have to look into Pickwick. That sure would be an impressive mount
alright with those two hawgs!! I've fished Table Rock, Greers, Bull Shoals,
Beaver and Norfork but not Pickwick.

All of those lakes have pretty good smallie fishin but if I was going to try to catch a big southern smallie, Pickwick would be my choice.

Glad you got 'em but that took longer than I would have thought. They have been gone for a while.

If you catch that 7 pounder on one of those, I am claimin half credit.

Mine went out on the pony express today around noon... just don't expect neat handwriting from me, i'll just be happy if you can make out my scratch. :o

Getting excited to see these. The spring rains are holding off so far, i keep heading across the street from my work and looking at the river. It is getting close to what i consider fishable....

You want big smallies? You guys are forgetting about Erie!!! I don't get near the time i would like to chase them, my Dad is big into the walleye and perch. It's his boat, so i don't complain much... fishin' is fishin' is fishin' is fishin'.... :D
