Hi Gunner, I'm new to the forum, but I've been lurking here reading your posts for a couple of months now. I finally got a chance to get out on Big Creek last Thursday after work. I've only been on BC a couple of times, I have no GPS and no locator, but I did get a map from the bait shop. Between what you've posted and finding brush piles with the map we were able to catch seven nice crappie. I'm going back out tomorrow night after work and give it another try.
