.

2yrs ago started the switch to the birds. To me, best pics on side scan and pretty simple to use. This winter, made the switch total as I wanted the 360 for seeing structure all around me as well as fish. Front of the jon boat has a 360 on Po Dunk Ideas Da Ducer and viewing the 360 using a Helix 10 mega DI g2n and under it, a 7 mega DI g3n for mapping and 2d and occassionally SI and DI off both as I have them networked to the 2 yr old 9 mega SI g2n at the back. I had to add fuse box, cutoff switch and completely rewire the boat this winter and after 3 weeks of setup and moving transducers around and tweaking this and that, really happy with the setup. I considered Garmin but didn’t care for the 20 degree angle or viewing or the picture,,,, maybe too old school as I have always been a structure fisherman and the 360 and the helix depth finders work for me as I wanted to see everything on the bottom. One thing about the 360, it’s so sensititive to interference and cross talking of other transducers on your setup and that is the hard part of setup. Other thing about electronics is, you can see and find the fish, you still have to catch them. I am very happy with the setup.
