Yes I think they were at summer pool when the rains started normally at summer pool by the end of May

The amount of rain has been unusually high. I know there is only so much they can do. My only question is why did they let the lakes come up to summer pool before we got our spring rains? I drive over the river 2 times a day, to and from work. It is impressive the amount of water at 4 mile bridge. I also look at that report daily. All 3 lakes are less than 2 feet from flood level. Just waiting to see what happens.

If we dont get any rain Missy should be back to summer pool next week. Sally should be there over the weekend. Fish on! Saw a pic earlier this week from the dnr of people catching crappie off a bridge over at sally.
Looking forward to it. Outlet side of Missy stinks something fierce. Wife and went down last Saturday, wife said she thought she would get sick...kinda funny![]()
its only 9 feet over summer pool now not sure if they open the ramps yet or not

Can't wait till the river is down too. May slide down to 1812 and check out the river after bit...
Wonder how much the extra sewage, rotting vegatation and farm manure will change the lakes. I would think the amount has to be pretty high as a lot of land was under water for a long time. Know there is a good amount of rotting fish up in the woods, be the raccoons and coyotes have had a good time eating fish.
Outlet side of Missy was pretty rough smelling a week ago, like rotten eggs. It will clear up soon I think. The road through 1812 is also pretty rough in spots. Not sure they will have the show this year, heard it was cancelled. Hope not, one person make some excellent chicken and dumplings...
Just looked at the daily report, the Missy is less than foot above summer pool. Will be heading down to Hogsback to check out the fishing this weekend. Kinda excited about being able to fish again real soon...
Fished Missy this evening off the bank. Caught 15 or so crappie, decent size. I was just catching and releasing tonight though. Bite didn't start until about a half hour before dark. Was using black and green twister tails just casting and retrieving. Caught a ton of very small bass. They were so thick on the bank that just simply dropping the lure in the water would get a strike. Also caught 2 really nice bluegill. Place looked like it was late fall with all the dead surroundings from the flood.
