Well, you didnt mention that you didnt have a boat. LOL Jacob's Pit just south of Manchester has plenty of shoreline fishing. There is a stretch on Silver Lake that would fit your needs. Probably Lukens as well.

Well if you need a place to fish, let me know, I will supply the boat.

The sally and missy will both be fishable again. Could be a little till the water comes back down and stabilizes, but I have had some great outings there in the late summer and fall. In fact the fall is one of my favorite times to fish, you have the entire lake to yourself for the most part, the days aren't typically as windy, and the weather is great.

I'll give it a try, Missy is a lake near Salamonie it's full name is Missisawanna I know the spelling isn't right but it's close.

You are indeed correct except for the spelling. It is Mississinewa (or at least I think!). The are very close together and are both reservoirs, they are also the names of the rivers that feed them.

Man Rico it seems like forever since the last time I seen you post on here. I haven't been on here much either.

Fish_Story its a small world... I live in Treaty just 5 miles north of you :-) You are right once the water gets high there's not many places to go nearby. My wife and I just drove up to Chain-O-Lakes last night to look at the water levels up there. They seems to be a normal fill with no flooding. The only problem is driving the 60 miles one way to get there. So I am contemplating the drive versus going out on Salamonie and giving the flood a try.
