Jacobs pit...now I know the name. Been ice fishing on that one. Sorry, no boat...sucks at times, but don't want any more expenses right now. Maybe some day...

The sally and missy will both be fishable again. Could be a little till the water comes back down and stabilizes, but I have had some great outings there in the late summer and fall. In fact the fall is one of my favorite times to fish, you have the entire lake to yourself for the most part, the days aren't typically as windy, and the weather is great.
Man Rico it seems like forever since the last time I seen you post on here. I haven't been on here much either.
Fish_Story its a small world... I live in Treaty just 5 miles north of you :-) You are right once the water gets high there's not many places to go nearby. My wife and I just drove up to Chain-O-Lakes last night to look at the water levels up there. They seems to be a normal fill with no flooding. The only problem is driving the 60 miles one way to get there. So I am contemplating the drive versus going out on Salamonie and giving the flood a try.
Where is chain o lakes?????Fl???
