Fish_Story its a small world... I live in Treaty just 5 miles north of you :-) You are right once the water gets high there's not many places to go nearby. My wife and I just drove up to Chain-O-Lakes last night to look at the water levels up there. They seems to be a normal fill with no flooding. The only problem is driving the 60 miles one way to get there. So I am contemplating the drive versus going out on Salamonie and giving the flood a try.
60 miles is way to far for me. When I do go by myself, I never plan it. When I go its usually just spur of the moment. I generally just go down to Hogsback, or back to 1812. Head back...fish for a couple hours and head home.
