Thread: 6-18 Cat Report

The cataract slab masters had another fine Thursday morning tourney. Had 12 boats with 4 of our regular team not making it this week. The fishing started at 7:30 and went down hill from there. All weighed in their 7 fish and all had nice stringers. But all teams reported that fishing was slow and had to work at it all day (welcome to my world). Winning team had 5.2 lbs and were spider rigging jigs with minnow. 2nd place team had 5.1 lbs and were pulling cranks. 3rd was also spider rigging. My team did everything and it was still tough. Did take about 30 minutes and stopped and fished for white bass that started breaking topwater and caught about 15 in a real short time. Had a blast. Next tourney will be June 25 hope all can make it.

i got there in the afternoon had sum nice fish but was slow marked a lot but they didnt want what i had ??
