kinda ironic, something made to help people catch fish(aka fishing sites) ultimately destroys them. Greg, is it laziness or lack of morels. maybe a little of both i guess. there is still one "spot steeling looser" that calls me at ice season for info. i normally dont like to knowingly lead someone off, but some people just beg for it. lol
this should be a good topic for the main board. spread the word about no talent spot jumping lurker lowlifes. you mite save someone from ruining their favorite spot/lake.
even on a big lake this can bite you. word gets out about your favorite point. next time you go to fish it there are either boats on it(and you being considerate) you dont get to fish there. it would get old if it ruined several trips, wouldnt it.

There are plenty of examples of the good stuff this site brings to one another too you know. It's just another media. And heck, 99 percent of us don't live anywhere near around anyone's particular lake. Focus more on sharing crappie fishing tips and techniques. We're all fishermen, we share the same pleasure, enjoy the camaraderie brought about by the site. Don't mention the specific spots and it'll all be good.
It's the same way here in NC, I have backed off on reports the last year or so, Every time I would post, the next day the parking lot would have twice the boat trailers, I started keeping up with it just to see the difference, Even the guys I thought were my buddies done the same thing, want to know where when and how with nothing in return. Wouldn't put the time in to find fish on there on and when they do find fish, they want tell you a thing! So I just quit telling anything.
it is tooo bad being 1 sided

and i totally agree with that, as you see in my reports on here still. i like this site for those reasons.
"99%"--the original issue, stickers, will do just that. people see the sticker at the ramp and bam, you have a dozen or more people knowing your location! even if you dont post pics or lake names. they still know where and what you got. there will be more rigs in the lot as a result. try it sometime. post up a local lake giving up limits of 16s and see what happens. if your being watched they will come. lol like i said before i have seen it happen. looks like im not the only one either. that was my original point. not that i hate crappie.com and people shouldnt share. people should know what not to share though, or pay the price. prices like, your pet lake wiped out and no fish for you to catch, people on your spots, no room to park at the ramp, retaliation for posting by others, more trash,........
post n share just be careful thats all.

One thing to remember , the bait shop owner is not our friends, they sell bait so the slogan "the fish are biting at such and such lake, slough, pond etc " you get the idea. I'm a tube guy so I don't get to the bait shop very offten. Don't talk about what you caught and where, it's hard not to brag a little. On my slough I'm known as the Ole guy with the flapping hat. Ya I catch a lot of fish, but if you crowd me I'll fish the next hour fishing next to you and I mean next to you. The guy that jumps ahead of me by 100 feet is in my space....
