I get them. I kinda like them because it usually gets me to looking. Some times it prompts me to go to the store if there is something I have been thinking about. Don't mind them at all.

Hi All,
Was wondering how many of us get the Bass Pro Shops (BPS) emails and what are our thoughts about these?
Also do we find these emails helpful/how helpful/annoying/do they prompt you to purchase highlighted items/do they cause you to go to the nearest BPS/etc.?

I get them also and if I see something I might want on sale I check Cabela's to see what they get for same item. Cabela's is only about 2 miles from home compared to 20 to BPS.
smiles are contagious, spread them around

I get them. Like to see the things that I don't need
Same here. I like looking even if I'm not buying.
Definitely agree with comments. Probably why I haven't asked to be removed from their list. Although it's been a small black hole for my time on occassion. Something I noticed recently was their clearance sale.
Well, I have enough tackle and supplies for 3-4 lifetimes, so I really shouldn't be considering more stuff. But... everyone knows how that goes. So I'm looking for deals, right, and begin noticing lures $9.29 marked down to $8.99. Being a math-oriented guy, I calculate the difference- $0.30 savings which is about 3% off. LOL! I'm thinking what a sale, right!?! (Clearance at that) LOL (still laughing)
Most other fishing tackle items are discounted less than a dollar too. Most of us would expect greater discounts at clearance. At any rate, I suppose there has to be something to justify emails. If BPS is reading (doughtful), I'm willing to help you design a true clearance campaign to increase revenue and add value via email links. And yes, thanks for the emails- they are a good marketing medium.
Have a beautiful day!
I like to look at the emails and look for either free or $1 shipping days and do my ordering during those days!

I get them but they get filtered into an "Advertisements" folder that I setup. I read them sometimes. I'd read them more often and more closely if the the closest BPS wasn't 1.5hrs+ away. Closest to me is Cincinnati. I'd rather make the trip rather than order online or by phone.
