We had 7" here at Eagle Creek S.P., the lake has come up two foot overnight.
With 12130 dfs of water coming in and only 2000 cfs going out we can expect to see a very high lake level.

A little over 2 3/4 inch in rain gauge here in S.W. Champaign this morning with more to come. Instead of lake being clear, cold, and low; high, muddy, and warm. Might make me quite till spring.
A person should learn something new every day!

Yep. River gauges are showing shelbyville to crest at over 614 before today and tomorrow's rain. Record level is 620 and I don't think we will be far off. Will take till at least March to get back down.
Tell em to open the damn gates wide open and it will be dry in 3 or 4 days lol
Personal Best 17 1/2"

does this essentially mean crappie fishing is over til then? What does this make make the fish do?
I personally use clear baits on clear water and dark baits in darker water. As for the high water wait till it settles some and then it becomes a searching game. Them pulling the water hard will pull the crappie to the drops and should bunch them up. Just will be a lot of water for them to hide in. Side scan becomes even more of a mans best friend on the water
10-4. Its gotta be a mess right now. Poor little crappies.
Ville rose almost 4.5 ft in last 24 hours. They don't even have a projected crest listed now. Iv never seen it like this...
Was planning on hitting shelbyville sunday, don't think it's gonna be in good shape by then unfortunately..
