Thread: Mill creek report

Fished Mill creek 8 hrs on thurs and 9 hrs friday. Got three keepers on thurs and 11 keepers on Fri. Fish still scattered not schooled up yet tried all the usual spots very spotty managed to find a couple of small schools located on some deep hidden brush piles that I found with the structure scan. South end of lake water temps mid 60's north end upper 50s, most fish caught on chartruese jig head with minnow and a few on bare hook with minnow no other color seemed to work for me. Caught about 8 bass and about 7 crappie that I threw back. No one that I talked to seemed to be doing anything great, very windy on Thurs., high school bass tournament going on on friday. Found no fish shallow or around the standing submerged trees last long cove to the south south bank before the standing trees found the hidden brush piles holding fish. Fish caught were quality biggest was 13 1/2 inches good luck to everybody.
