Rend lake

So my family and I took our annual fishing trip to rend lake last week and once again we were not let down. Fished Sunday 4/26 through Thursday 4/30. It started off Sunday afternoon with 10 keepers in a few hours fishing and then Monday and Tuesday were rather tough. Kept 13 on Monday but thought we figured out a new area late in the day for Tuesday. Went back there Tuesday and started off good but then struggled the rest of the day and ended up with 18. Finally on Wednesday we decided to try an area of the lake none of us have ever seen and boy did it pay off. Ended Wednesday with 53 fish and a limit of overs for my boat of 3. Went back Thursday and had another 41 with our limit of overs coming early in the afternoon and quitting rather early. Wednesday and Thursday was some of the best fishing I've had down there and was an absolute blast! Had lots of big fish over the trip. Thursday alone we had 5 over 13" and 16 over 12". Biggest of the trip was my fathers at 14" out of the second boat in our group. My boat had 8 or 10 fish in the trip at 13 3/4-13 7/8 but couldn't hit the 14 mark. Fished lots of bushes that the only way you can get to it is to use your motor as a chain saw! Hardly used the trolling motor on the good days. Table pics are a congregation of fish from both boats at the end of the days.
