Jeff you know you can always go solo.
Some people just never end with excuses why they can't make it to camp, Pam just won't let me use her new fishing poles, shes afraid Jeff will break them, next hes going to tell us hes going duck and goose hunting oop's that's closed, what else heck with it. He's out, one down how many more to go.:Rofl:Rofl:Rofl:Rofl
I'll probably be there, but won't be the same without Pam.
Pat, do you think you could put that ad on four billboards in the state, two on I-57 and one on I-70 and one on I-80:Rofl:ThumbsUp
Attention: anyone coming to camp being camping or staying ina cabin, word of warning, book something now cause there is Crappie USA fishing a tournament this weekend and would like all of us to have a place to stay.
I am in!
Glad to have ya coming Mavs.
You know I'll be there cabin is locked down Pat.

Sorry I went ice fishing yup coon creek be there Thursday night

You better drink whisky and vodka Pat because we didn't join the pistol club like you, where you drink beer to one and pistol to two.:Rofl
Pat, do you have supply list so we can bring things, i will bring 30 lbs fresh and charcoal and lighter fluid. 30 = 120 pieces, and tinfoil pans. 10 of that homemade will be hot.
Not started one yet and will wait until mid to late April. I still got those baked beans you gave me at fall camp too.
Ill be at 75 this year. I liked last years site (128) except the fire-pit. The pit was not really in the campsite, it was near the road.
I'll bring enough firewood for both Friday and Saturday nights. Bring your camp chairs. This year I would like to get a game of cards going.
Kenny, maybe one day we could hit the lake together?
BillBob and Slab, your more than welcome to bring your chairs on over as well. Heck, for that matter so is everyone else.
BYOB.
Will there be shirts available for our camp or Il CDC Camp decals ?
Tim, I retired for the 2nd and last time at the beginning of this month so I will be down at our place on Lake Mattoon a lot more this year and especially that week. So I will pull my boat over to Shelbyville if you want and we will go out any time and as many times as you want to. All you have to do is say the word.
Thanks Kenny. Congrats on the retirement, again. lol
I changed my site. If memory serves me correctly there is a young family with a camper that likes that site. Plus I will be bringing my watch dogs, Shih Tzu's. Opted for something in the woods. The woods served me well last year during the hail storm.
Well, if y'all can stand us, we're coming up for camp. Somebody tell me where to pitch camp . . . . . and be nice!
Mrs CS, if you're going to be camping, you want to be at Eagle Creek State Park. Site #135 is very nice. It's not right next to the pavilion that crappie camp is at but it's plenty close enough. The site is close to the bathhouse/restroom and has no neighbors behind you. But if you want to be in the middle of things I'm sure someone else here can give you some site #'s. There is a tournament going on that weekend also, so you will want to make your reservations asap, it will be busy most likely. You're going to have a good time. Glad you can make it!
Glad to have you and Paul come up for our camp. I will even put you on some fish if you can beat clfarm1 to them. He likes to follow me around. LOL.
The pavilion we party at is in the Quail Drive loop at Eagle Creek Sate Park. Most of the sites are designed for travel trailers, RV's. Check the length of the drive and see if your camper will fit. Tents will work on all of them. Most of the inner loop is open and flat. Great for campers and RV's, however depending on temp, that tent could get hot in the direct sun. Sites 75 and 72 are both good sites and near water. Glad to have you there. It's always a good time.
Does our Illinois contingent have an 'Illinois' C.C decal? Have never seen one. Have seen some really cool ones from other states. Would be interested in receiving one.
Lets see what we can come up with. I talk to the committee.
We had one two years ago. Still stuck to my boat. Thought there was going to be one last year. However I didn't see one. I'll buy both last years and this years if you have them.
ok good. pm me or post it....I've seen some pretty cool ones for Indiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and I believe Louisiana. Ours could be a giant black crappie cruising through a bean field:popcorn Most of us would be proud to display our 'colors' on our rigs.
gebwers, yall are gewbers I tell ya.
Attachment 196457let me know what you want and I will have my guy make some for camp. I was told they didn't want them last year. I can special order some with last years date for the members that were at camp. I like the design I had originally, but it can be customized if you want something different every year.
Cool I'll take both 2
Campsite booked - we'll be in Site 126.
Kewl
