WHAT'S UP???
What. no one bragging anymore or is fishing that poor that no one is posting? I've been hitting the banks for an hour or two a few times a week. The wind has been dictating where I've been able to fish. The few fish I've been catching have been nice fat healthy fish. Looks like just maybe, unless things turn around, that this may be a down fall. I said the same thing last fall and then they really turned on. Hope the same thing happens again. Might get out in a boat today and see what happens.

All the shotguns going off from the duck hunters has scared all the crappie away. Usually happens after the last week of October.

I did catch a few here and there for some time now but one fish I did catch had at least a 5" shad in its belly and still went for my bait.

Crappie Wall Hanger
I picked a great day to be off work fishing Lake Shelbyville. The wind laid low for most of the morning & picked up in the p.m. I found some fish but were pretty scattered. Got a few bonus white bass and a 4+lb LM bass too. Just shy of a crappie limit. Nice healthy fish though. I had a great time, the phone did not ring once. When I retire (haha) this will be my new office. Got a feeling this may be the end of the no jacket fishing. Here comes the cold...got a few more outings in me before the snow flies.
