Snow Pack up North
Just checkin....is there an above average snow pack up there? Seems like there would be. When all that snow and ice melts and runs down river, the overflow swamps and lakes of south Louisiana rise with the effect of the Mississippi river being very high. We have even seen ice floating down river as far south as Baton Rouge and New Orleans. We like the high water here as it makes for a monster crawfish season as well as restocking the overflow swamps and lakes down here. Good luck this spring if it ever comes....SLIP
