Not trying to be a downer here, but you really did not provide much of a report, and from what I can see only catching a total of 10 fish with only 5 keepers, to me that is not a very good day. Especially with the fish biting very well lately.
Carlyle is a big lake. Would you care to share what part of the lake, depth of catch, jig size and color etc. I am not asking for waypoints as I would not
share those with the public. It is a public water and I believe that in the spirit of CDC brotherhood, one should share enough information to help all
members utilize their time on the water to catch fish and not just chase around looking for spots. many times on the water other fisherman have given me tips that have helped make my trip a better trip. I believe in paying it forward. The ramp appears to be Allen Branch. there are a lot of xmas tree piles in the branch and I have had good luck on brush piles on the south side of the mouth of the creek.
we fish the river side about 14ft deep against the ledges with bright color jigs from midsouth jigs i am sorry that i did not get that information out stay on the west side of the lake and fish around the river bends two jigs on one line sorry once again did
I got two people in the office giving me the blues I can't seem to finish what I am trying to say, don't forget to mark the ledges with a marker buoy the crappies are hold tight to the ledge wall and they are traveling up and down those ledge walls good luck and happy turkey day.![]()
Nice ones.
Good job bud. Thanks for the report.
wish there were more overs
Those are some good ones! Thanks for the post...Carlyle doesnt get much attention here on the board.
I agree with Any Weather; Carlyle is a sleeper lake on this board.
