Thanksgiving Crappie

Dad and I got out and did some thanksgiving morning crappie catchin today. We fished from 9-12 and had our double limit. Didnt catch a whole lot of fish, but had some dandies. Fishing 6-9fow with jiggies. Birdman Special was the hot color today on 16th oz heads.. Hope everyone is enjoying their day with family and friends and happy thanksgiving to all the c.comers out there!

Nice bunch of fish! Trying to decide if we are heading down early in the morning due to weather change. Do you know if any of the other cleaning stations and bathrooms are still open? Any suggestions for tomorrow with temps dropping and wind?

Im not sure what other stations are closed up yet, sorry I cant help ya there. I would think that the bite is going to slow some with the big temp drop and front coming through. But I could be completely wrong. Either way you should still catch fish, they still have to eat! I dont imagine the shallow fish will be to active so I would personally target 8-15 foot on the drops... and get out of that wind! brrr!
