Couldn't figure out which lake to fish today. Thought about springfield but the west wind isn't favorable there. Decided to go to clinton because I knew I could get out of the wind. Struggled to get out of mclean county with the snow drifts on the road. Got to mascoutin about 9 and it was a good feeling seeing trailers in the parking lot. Scanned the coves and main lake. Found fish in the tree tops and put on the blue bobby garland and chartruese mo glo. The chartruese mo glo was the color. Limited out with fish 9.25 to 12. Here is a picture of the 12 and a 10. Ramp was really slick and snow packed leaving and with more boats pulling out it will get really slick tonight. You have to have 4 wheel drive to launch.

Nice fish Sparky, what ramp did you put in at.? I learned a long time ago 4 wheel drive only way to go. I'm hoping I can do some scanning this year to,( please God let my wife agree to buy one) I've got to see that scanner in action. Rick

OK, so some people like to mock me laughingly and say that the fish I catch are no where near as big as I say they are. For future reference that is my livewell lid in the pic and it is exactly 15 in. or 38.1cm for some of you hooligans!

Good report. Should help others out. Be careful on those slick ramps too. Congrats on the catch.
