    Man I wish our society could go back in time a bit to when things were simple like back then. I find myself making things way more complicated than they need to be. I remeber when I was a little notty kneed hoodlum I would do the same jsut grab a cane pole some worms and head down to the Bayou and that was dinner that night. Not I cant seem to go anywhere or catch anything without my electronics and fancy pole and stuff !

    I appreciate the effort to post all the great pics...brought back memories of my trips with my dad, uncle and grandfather to Green and Rough River in KY when I was a kid!

    Curtis, this is one of the nicest articles about some great fishermen that I have met. Your pictures are worth a 1,000 words. I wish I had pictures of my growing up (catching fish) like you. Thank you for sharing. Brings back some memories of mine that I forgot. On sundays, mom would could chicken and we would go to the gravel pit and catch fish for mondays dinner. Wow what memories.
