Went by the the camp ground and talked to a lady there. She said they only lock the camp ground around 10 PM. Couple of boats in the water and lake was fairly calm. Clear as glass at the lower end. Tried to catch the DNR riding around but no luck. Went to Holly Grove and water was more stained but still could see down 3-4'. Talked to couple guys on the dock trying out a underwater camera. They said it is hit or miss, like GA Boy was saying, due to the amount of structure. The gate up there does get locked at night too. Wife has put in to go to Sinclair tonight and for me to take the boys tomorrow night to Juliette. Thinking about what's been posted and your definately right. Go early and locate some structure out on the edges of the timber with fish holding on the drop offs or points. Definately take it slow after dark. That lake is pretty remote if you get into trouble especially when I would probably be the only one out there at night. The Slider jigs like Dutch was using were what the guy at the dock said was the only jig to use. Just let it fall and watch the line and then work it slowly till you find 'em. Got to think there are some humps or something on the edges of the timber that would hold some fish. Will see what happens. 10 fish like Dutch had would be fine with me!
