Little Hall park at Lanier
Decided to try Lanier for the 1st time tomorrow with the kids. Will be my 1st experience in Georgia. Was going to give Alatoona a shot but may be to far of a drive for me to get a feel of the fishing here.
Has anyone fished little hall? I guess there is a big tourney tomorrow..
Looking for any advice..even if i can get the kids to catch 1 fish..I will be happy

Hey all, took the boys for our first Georgia Fishing Trip at Keiths Bridge Road which is I guess right next to Little Hall Park and boy was it a blast. Havent had that much success on the shore in since I was a kid catching largemouths in Michigan.
There were two coves and plenty of drop offs which i believe may of been 30 ft plus..I am going to go by myself soon to find out for sure and really study it.
Anyways, we nailed 23 bluegill. I didnt tap into any crappie but I think that may be the case when shore fishin. There were also stripers top feeding which I did not try mainly because I was too busy baiting hooks, every cast we had a hit. Small little fellas, but the kids enjoyed it.
When I go out myself, i will report back in for the folks that cast from the shoreline. One good thing is that there are plenty of piers and from my understanding from a local is that they are vacant and that you can fish off of them. Maybe the slabs are there
