Thread: Made to Blackshear yesterday

Just like the two previous reports I caught a bunch of fish. I was able to avoid the trash for the mosh part. I think the breeze kept it at bay some. Most fish were in the 10 inch and smaller range. They all went back in to grow. I did bring home a few Black crappie around 12 in. and one white that was over 14 in. Also brought home one 3+ pound catfish that hit a black/chartreuse hair jig I tied. He came home because he destroyed my jig. Caught most of the fish in 16 to 20 feet of water and they hit a variety of baits plastic, hair, and feather jigs. all had some black in them. Head color didn't seem to matter much.
Except for the water lice in the afternoon It was a great day on the water. Even the little ones are fun to catch.
