I agree with what Spiderman is saying. I also found days where the type of jig head mattered. I was catching nothing on round heads and I switched and put some pony heads out with the same curly tails on and the fish started hitting like crazy. The only thing I can think of was that the way the head moved through the water or displaced water made the crappie hit the pony head and they weren't liking the round head, and these were the same color heads too. Usually it is a lure style change or a color change. If they are not biting you never know until you try all the stuff you have. It gives you something to do when the fish aren't biting too. I wish I could troll 50 rods at once. LOL.
