Like Fireman said, there are some creeks along the way that usually do pretty good or you can go north under the 280 bridge and check out Spring Creek on the left. Fishing is getting pretty good right now. Stop in at Flint River Outdoors right across the street from the Veterans State Park entrance and talk with Brad McDaniel and he'll point you in the right direction....Great guy!!
