    Default Lake Sinclair Saturday

We fished Sinclair from about 7:30 until 5:30. It started very slow. We were down the lake toward Island Creek. The air
temp was 27 and the water temp has dropped to 43. The water temp dropping that low seemed to back them off a little. We only caught 7 in the morning. After lunch we went up Oconee River and the water temp was climbing and the fish started biting. The problem was we would catch 3 to 5 fish real quick and then we would catch little fish for awhile or not catch none. We had to wade through a bunch of little ones but we had a bunch of really nice fish. We caught 52 and kept 24. We caught fish from 7 feet to 25 feet. The water temp got up to 58 degrees in the afternoon. It was beautiful day and a great day to fish. The pictures are of my friend Ray reeling in a fish in the back of my boat, me holding two of our bigger crappie, and of the fish right before we cleaned them.
