Thread: Lake Blackshear

This is the one I caught in the fall of '12 up near Camper's Haven. Like I said earlier, I was with a friend in his boat, basically fishing blind in the water, no electronics what so ever on his jon boat other than the trolling motor. We were just pitching minnows to blow downs like the one behind me in the pic. Pretty much soon as the line hit the water the cork never stopped, I actually thought it was a bass from the way it hit. It measured just over 17" and right at 2.3lbs., I was going to get it mounted. I had it stored in the deep freezer at my dad's, the day I went to go take it to the taxidermist I found it gone.......still don't know where or how!!!!
