    I have a 500 series on the front of the boat for tight linning, hooked up to the minn Kota built in transducer, on my console I have my 798 si sd and I bought a extra power cord and an extention for the transducer, a friend gave me an old base so now I have the base mounted so I can hook up the extra cables and put the unit in the back cup holders on my Carolina Skiff when we troll for stripers or long line for crappie.
