Trolling below 1mph all the time and I always get excellent pics so I throw the bs flag on the 1mph minimum thing. I try to match the screen speed with the boat speed for a real accurate picture. Too slow or fast tends to distort the image. But it will still work, just depends on how pretty a picture you want. I tend to prefer sonar for fish and si/di for structure. Just my opinion. I'm still learning it.
Yes I know that. In the pic the fish had been moving in for a while.. I kept watching them. I wish I took more screen shots.or a recording. There were very few fish when we started fishing the bridge. As we were holding still at the end of the pilon I watched as they came in and we started catching some. The direction they were coming from is not the same as where I stated they were coming from on the screen. Guess I should have said that.
