    Default Update...motor problems

I had issues with loss of power at full throttle with my Merc earlier this month, I was thinking bad fuel.

so ,I changed out the plugs and cleaned out the fuel filter...siphoned some gas off the bottom of the tank to check for water globules, none were found. Changed foot as well while I was at it.

Finally got it on the lake yesterday (since BOTH Tobo and Houston lakes were dropped)...motor fired up no problem and idled good...push the power to it, there was a slight bog for about 10 seconds then she planed out and ran like a scalded dog. I ran it like I stole it for about 20 minutes, going from a idle to full throttle with no hesitation or loss of power.

The whole issue was bad plugs and a dirty fuel filter...I gues I will lay into a supply of plugs and changed them every 2 years instead of 3 and I will only run ethonal free gas from now on.

Time to do some serious fishing now.
