Thread: Oconee, Dead sea starting to wake up

jigslinger and i went to oconee today. heard about and saw all the posts about it not giving up its bounty. we got on the water about sunrise. sugar creek was beautiful. except for a green carp tourney going out of the marina. headed towards the main lake and the fog was as thick as pea soup. so we stayed in sugar till the sun burned it off. dang bass boats flyin everywhere.what do ya have to do to get a little comon courtesy on the water with these guys. we managed a few out of sugar and moved on. all in all it was a tough day but we managed a few good ones. 2 biggest were 2.4 and 1.7. i think things are starting to turn around a little. we were still marking fish like crazy but tough to get them o bite. the ones that did bite were in 25 to 25 fow. and hanging about 8 to 15 ft down.
