    Unhappy Itchin to go!!!

I've been making modifications to my boat this month....been to craps tables in Biloxi and back....played some golf...hung my deerstand for the beginning of archery season, but crappie fishing and catching is on my mind!!!! Has anyone gone? Oconee, Sinclair ???? Spiderman and I went to Clarks Hill earlier this month and it was like the dead sea....long line trolling caught all kinds of stuff, just not enough specks! Thinkin about going and spider rigging with kentucky rigs at in a couple of weeks.....slow and about 20ft deep depending on what the graph says!!!!! come on cooler weather!!!!!!

I have been making modifications to my boat for months now and I haven't been crappie fishing since late March/early April....Bout to kill me, but with the boat almost water ready now, I may have to slip off down to Blackshear this weekend and get it fine tuned for this Fall!!!

Sounds like we've all been thinking and tinkering with our rigs! I modified my driftmaster holders up front with a long u shaped pipe so that I can run 10 rods up front with dual pedestal seats and 6 rods in the back for that seat.....should be great...got to get it in the water...load up with rods and tweak angles...then lock 'em down!!!!! Wish the power and steering harness to foot control on motor guide wasn't so damn stiff.....maybe it won't be a pain.....still got time though!

Looking like I am gonna make Blackshear sometime this weekend..Hadn't really planned on taking my rods with me but the rod holders do need re-tuning...Sounds like a good excuse to me. <*)}}}><

What's up. Post some pics of your modifications. I'd love to see um.

Now Tim, there is no way you can go to Blackshear without your rod holders and rods. We need reports.

Had to scratch the itch with the jig pole today. Nothing spectacular but some decent Blackshear blacks shallower than I expected. Guess the mayfly hatch got them stirred up.
