    got the foot fixed on the pontoon ran it a couple of time it ran good gears worked good . looked at it last weekend and had a hole just behind the prop . put all insides in another housing . working good now took it out this after noon it would not go fast loaded it up cranked it on muff and the top cylinder was not firing . will change the coil and see if it is the probable . can`t keep it going long enough to fish. maybe by the time the water clears up i will have it going .

    Thanks! i think i know what the problem is top cylinder is not firing . i ordered a coil for it hope it comes in before Friday . the power pack was replaced some year ago . if that is the problem i have one of those . it is a 1979 55 hp Evinrude .

    yes it was the top cylinder coil replaced it ran fine BUT checked the foot and had water in it now waiting on a complete foot seal kit . . it did run perfect no complain on that . looking for a boat to put a 40 hp with stick steering .

    got a seal kit and was putting it back together and realized some parts was wrong had to re order 2 output shaft seals . will be next Wed. before i get them
    retired and now i will always fish

    wan`t believe they sent only 1 seal . now i have to order another .

    got the other seal in ready to install foot maybe tomorrow .

    got the foot on last week end and shift rod was not ajustede right . pulled it this morning and shifts like it should . ran up the river and al;l is well . came back git the wife and cranked run in reverse started to go forward went dead and the Bendix stuck .got that going and would not go fast changed plug and noticed the coil wire that comes from stater was off . nopw runs like a new motor .. keeping my fingers crossed ...
