I toughed out the heat and humidity and got a little bit more done on the boat...Really getting close now. Electronics and trolling motor are now ready for the water. Put the seats in also. Still have to put the rod holders, on board charger, livewell and stereo in...Maybe by next weekend I can finish it up

The boat is 99% crappie ready with the exception of the livewell!!..I have a friend building a livewell for me and it should take a couple of weeks or so before he will get the time to build it..All electronics, (all but the stereo) are installed, rod holders, on board charger and rod holders were installed this weekend...Now to do a makeover on the trailer and I'll be set!!!

I finally got the trailer ready...All but the wheels...The pic before I painted doesn't really show how much work was needed. And when I removed the running boards, I just gave them a good yank and they came right off Hopefully tomorrow I'll have the boat and trailer ready to tow down the road!!!

    Default She's Ready

Finally have it ready for the road and the water. Still have a couple of decals on order and I have a friend working on a livewell for me, but I can work around that... I am planning on taking it out on the lake for the first time sometime this weekend. It ran good in the 25 acre pond I had it in last week and hopefully I have got all the bugs worked out...As you can tell by the first picture, the boat has been "Hooker Approved"

I took the stickers, decals, tape, whatever it was off the cowling so I could start painting it this week and this is what was under all that stuff!!!! Different, but kinda cool!
