I also didn't like the rod holder situation on the front of the boat....The T-Bar configuration just don't do well in this type of boat...The rail on the front was just in just way, so if ya can't beat em, join em!!..Gonna put 4 on each side.

I was concerned about them moving too and if they did I was going to use a split piece of rubber hose...But they are tight just like they are.

I think I have finally got the rod holder situation figured out and taken care of...I love the spacing between the holders...Livewell is the last thing to do now!! This is what I have ended up with:

Tim......I'm assuming the T-Bar wasn't tall enough to clear the rails and you still be able to angle your rod tips where you wanted? I think those rail mounts are going to be 10 times stronger than the T-Bar anyway. If the front ones don't turn w/ you, I think you've got a real winner. Very nice addition to an already great boat!!

Yep Craig...The bar just wasn't tall enought for the very back holder to clear the rail. The way it is now on front, it frees up some room and they do not turn, or at least with out really putting a helluva lot of pressure on them. It also freed up some space in the back by not using the T-Bar. The T-Bars are great holders with the right boat, but they just didn't work out for this boat. But I am satisfied with the way things have worked out so far...Gonna test 'em out at Blackshear tomorrow.....Thx for the compliment!!
