My name is Nicki Halstead. I own a small internet based company called Blue Collar Jigs and Flies in Barnesville Ga. I have been in business since the first of the year after testing the jigs and flies I tie for almost two years. I am looking for the best way to introduce them to crappie, hybrid, striper, bass, and any other kind of fisherman around the country that are interested in them. I am happy to send a small sample pack to anyone interested in giving them a try. All I need is a private message sent to me with address and phone number. My goal is to have a thousand customers by the end of the year and meet a bunch of really cool people that love to fish like my family and I do. I would also like to inform people of a cancer support group that my company supports called Compasionate Hearts. We donate 10% of company profits to support the group to pay for traveling expenses for victims, prescriptions, groceries, what ever the family needs to keep thier head above water. We did a fundraising fishing trip for the support group and managed to raise quite a bit of money. If you would like to see my work or support Compasionate Hearts you can visit my website and see some of what I do. Thanks a million for the warm welcome and look forward to spending time here on crappie.com introducing my jigs to everyone. PS IN AUGUST WE WILL START SELLING A 2-DAY DEER HUNTING TRIP FOR THE MINISTRY. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED SEND A MESSAGE OR GIVE ME A CALL. TAKE A LOOK AT MY PROFILE AND YOU CAN SEE THE KIND OF ANIMALS THAT COME OFF OUR HUNTING LAND. LOOK FORWARD TO TALKING TO YOU AND GETTING TO KNOW ALL OF YOU !!!

My name is Don Jackson. I am a "born-again" crappie fisherman. I fished alot when I was a kid; my Papaw had a place at Enid Lake, MS. But, I went years without fishing much, except to take the kids. I have been in the Army and National Guard for eighteen years and am looking forward to retiring and fishing every day. I live in Tennessee about 20 miles from Reelfoot, and I just bought some land a few miles from Bay Springs lake in Mississippi (haven't fished there much). I am here to learn from the guys that do it every day. Thanks for having me.

Hi all! My name is Steve ,I live and fish in the central coast of California. The lakes i fish the most are Cachuma and Lopez lakes . All my fishing is from shore, no boat I'll do my best to give periodic updates on shore fishing from those two.I'm somewhat new to using a computer at the age of 53, I know! I was living in the stone-age! So if i mess -up you'll understand. The only thing more than Crappie and redear fishing that i enjoy most is eating a batch fried up:D Thanks!

    Default Newbie from Indiana

Hi, I just joined (was allowed to join against everyone's better judgment ) last week. My earliest fishing memory is catching a 5lb or so carp near my grandfather's house on Kentucky Lake when I was three. I thought it was Jaws and I was terrified. I spent just about every trip to Tennessee fishing for crappie with my grandad up until the time he passed away. My dad also loved to fish, and we went camping or fishing several times a year. I have my own little one now, and I'm looking forward to teaching him to fish someday.

There isn't a whole lot of prime fishing in my immediate area, but I like to hit Cataract and Mississinewa when I can. Mostly shore fishing, but once I'm done with grad school, I'll be looking to buy some sort of boat.

The only thing better than catching crappie is eating them!

    Thanks,
    Dave H.

    Cool Best time

I believe the nest time is time you are on the water . 100 degrees 30 mph wind. Foam sloshing over in your boat . If the fish bite . The barnett has been awful this year so far . It has been good to me . I hope to learn something from ya'll and maybe help some one . I have only been fishing since april of last year like this . Use to fish the spillway with a big stick kinda got tired of . I am already glad to read some of the post you have made . Just another day
    CATCH THEM ALL.

Look up at the top of the page on the rightside.....right next to my profile it says....Settings....click on that, then click edit avitar and follow the instructions from there......If you have any problems with it just send me a PM and I will try to help some more.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
