What's up everybody? I'm new to this Big swol is what everybody calls me. Riverside and Pell city Alabama is where I fish most of the time. I'm having a hard time finding a group of crappie. I went out Sunday and Monday and caught two or three here and there. All around boat docks. Any suggestion
Welcome from Arkansas Big Swol! I think I would post that in the main or mentoring forum. Either one of those will get you some advice. Include what you are using as bait/lure, depth, is there any structure around the docks or is it clean and you just have the docks? There are lots of folks here that can help you out. Again WELCOME!
Big Swol and Chairman welcome aboard
New jersey guy here. Just signed up a few days ago. Found very interesting, knowledgeable folks here. I do all freshwater fishing in ponds, lakes and creeks in and around Burlington and Camden counties. Crappies are my favorite fish to catch. They can be a challenge at times.

Hello Everyone. Just joined this forum. Have been a crappie fisherman from Arkansas for about 40 yrs. Favorite lake is Lake Ouachita, located in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, which is about 30 miles west of Hot Springs. Looking forward to getting to know more of you and learning anything I can.
HI fellow fishermen, New to the forum never done the forum thing before. Have read some posts on here, looks like a lot of good info. Been crappie fishing alot when I was yonger, but started getting back into it a few years back. Fishing has been good but I always feel I can do better. My job ( tug captian ) keeps me away alot. The good lord has blessed me greatly with the best wife in the world. When I do get time off all she asks I go and injoy my self fishing or hunting! How cool is that!! When I get home the deal is I clean and cook fish and grits, and she cleans the boat, rods. Hope to meat some good folks and find some good info on fishing in my area.
Welcome aboard

OMG! Yes I see that pic. Helluva slab!
It's the jpegs and pics that I have to click on are the ones that I cannot see.
Thanks!
Gotcha! Thank you. Think they were old photobucket ones
Thanks central Cali. Me n sum buddies plan on hitn the central area (Isabella...) for sum slabs. Fished up there a few years ago (think in April or May), caught a few.
Now going a 2nd time, I'll have a better idea where to fish. Sum buddies of a friend who I went up there with were fishing the steep cliffs. We drove on this dirt rd., and hiked down the Mt. side
Cool, some Californians. The CA section was looking lonely. Just trying to pick up on this crappie fishing, maybe i'll see you out there.
Well, I'm a new member, and I can't even figure out how to start a new thread. In the FAQ section it says to click on the "start new thread" button (or something similar), but I do not see where that is. All I want to do for now is introduce myself so that I might connect with others from my area and go from there. My username is justfishin2 in case it doesn't show up in this response.
