Oh, I could tell yall some holes, but Shu would shoot me cuz that is HIS part of the sand box. Mine is about 10 miles by water from his.
Now getting down to business at hand. I can only bring one cooker, but have 2 tanks of propane to throw in. Could also throw in the slotted spoons and big bowl to rinse the filets in, and some baggies. Will also bring that lost (without a permanet home) 6 pak cooler and a radio for some background music. Just be aware, all my radios only play 2 kinds of music.....Country......and......Western. Some times (if I find the right staion) it plays both at the same time!!!!!
Now getting on down to the "things to decide on".
Anyone volunteering to do the ground work this time???
What time is the gate gonna be open???
    Time to meet ???
    How long to fish????
Can anyone think of other things to decide upon??
You know, the normal things to plan on. We learned a lot during the last one, lets see if we can make it better this time. After all, iffin you ain't makin things better, you ain't learnt a dang thing.

Anyone volunteering to do the ground work this time???I will volunteer for the ground work. Will need some help PHANTOM309??:D:D

I can fish early (6:00 to 10:00??) and get back to get things going. I already told Phantom that I was going to have my live wells prestocked so he needn't try for the biggest. He can go for the mostest

If anyone will be looking for bait, I would suggest stopping at SANDYS BAIT AND TACKLE, opening time 6:00AM which is located on 441. Look for the LARGE ICE CREAM CONE, Sandys is located in that strip shopping mall.

What time is the gate gonna be open???The gates officially open at 8:00AM, BUT I am going to see if I can get them open at midnight, so they will be open for those getting there early. If the gates are not opened there is a $2.00 fee for each vehicle/trailer.

I was hoping that someone would have a partner that wasn't going fishing that could hold some tables and maybe set some things out, just to claim a space.

How long to fish???? At lake Monroe just about everyone wanted to get on the water at the earliest moment, so I would say start fishing when you want. After last time, I would say that we could fish until 1:00 PM, last boat in. I am sure some will return early and we will start to clean fish and get things boiling. I will try to be in by 10:00AM

Can anyone think of other things to decide upon?? We will need to get some input as to where to hold the next one and when.
Anyone have some stick on write on name tags????
It would be nice to schedule some time for a group picture and some pictures before the fish hit the cleaning tables.

all my radios only play 2 kinds of music.....Country......and......Western. My kind of music.:D:D:D

    :D

When I originally setup the poll, I had listed Feb 28 Sat and Feb 29 Sun. THEN I started to look at the calendar. I found out just how far off I was.
If that is the only screwup that I do, I will survive.

Next one what???? Oh and by the way, the only real compitition my partner and I will have is Shu and his son. Between Ed and I, we should be able to feed the masses:p.......well, most the masses anyway.:D Would appreciate a little help from the "out of towners".

    Default Suggestion for weigh-in

Spec/tater has suggested that we not require that everyone launch at Hickory Point, but put in where you want and start fishing when you want, BUT have the weigh-in at Hickory Point at 1:00 PM SHARP. You can dock at Hickory Point or drive to check-in by the 1:00 PM time.
Weigh-in will be for 7 fish per person weighed on certifiable scales

John, I will talk to "team" but I'm sure we can help you out
with the ground work, come in early with you, seein as though
we all (you and us) won the last fest I guess it would only be
fair to give the others at least a fighting chance.
